OUR CORE VALUES
Like we mentioned before, more than anything, we desire to create a place that we all can call home, but beyond that you might be wondering what we prioritize and value. Hopefully this can clear things up a bit better.
With Jesus at the center of everything we do, we are a church with four anchor values: Worship, Fellowship, Discipleship, & Stewardship.
These four anchor values are further explained in what we call our Core Values. Allow us to elaborate:
Magnifying God in passionate worship with bold, Biblical forms of expression.
(2 Sam. 6:14; Ps. 47:1; 95:1-2, 6; 149:3; 150:4; 134:2; 1 Cor. 14:14-15).
Memorable moments encountering the presence and power of God.
(Acts 5:32; Gen. 32:30; Acts 19:6; Is. 61:1-3).
Maintaining focus on the centrality of the cross and the finished work of Jesus Christ.
(Heb. 12:2; Eph. 3:11; John 19:30; 2 Tim. 2:15).
Maturity journey through the 4 primary M’s that facilitate spiritual development.
This includes the concepts of Ministry of the Word, My Role, Modeling Community, and Mentoring for a Multiplication Movement (Col. 1:28; Rom. 10:8; Phil. 2:12; Acts 2:46; 2 Tim. 2:2; Gen. 1:28; Matt. 28:18-20).
Mobilizing believers to creatively reach others with the gospel of Jesus Christ.
This includes the concepts of team ministry, everyone can be a leader, the use of your gifting, talents and skills for effective outreach (Eph. 4:1216; Acts 14:23; Rom. 12:6; 2 Cor. 3:2-3; Col. 4:5-6).
MOLDING THE FOUNDATIONS
Molding the foundations of many generations.
This includes the concepts of the preparing and equipping of people for healthy marriages that produce godly families for the next generation to be developed within (Isa. 58:12; Deut. 6:5-9; Mal. 2:15-16; Eph. 6:1-3).
Missional stewardship with our finances and opportunities.
(1 Chr. 29:12-16; 2 Cor. 8:7, 14-15; Matt. 25:14-30; 1 Cor. 16:2; 2 Cor. 11:3; Rom. 12:11).
